Meet Katie

Building on two decades of experience in corporate HR, training, and management roles, Katie Hostasa, PCC, founded KMH Leadership to focus on helping people in a more direct and personalized way. Today, Katie offers a variety of services to help businesses and individuals thrive by coaching, advising, and supporting individuals at every stage of their professional and personal journey.

As a dedicated leadership coach, small business owner, and working parent, Katie has learned firsthand how to adapt key development tools, techniques, and best practices to fit individual needs and busy lifestyles. With an emphasis on defining specific goals and developing effective success strategies, Katie helps companies succeed and clients turn their hopes into plans, their gaps into strengths, and their vision into reality.

In addition to being a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with affiliations to the International Coach Federation (ICF), Katie holds an undergraduate degree in education and a master’s degree in human resource management. She lives in the Des Moines metro area, along with her husband and two adventurous children, while working closely with clients nationwide.

Being a leadership coach has allowed Katie to improve lives and impact the world in a way that feels both deeply meaningful and profoundly gratifying. After years of practice, she maintains a genuine passion for helping others recognize their strengths, build new skills, and realize their unique, full potential as individuals and leaders.
